An authentic, used prayer carpet made from a piece of the green runner that was used in the Rawdah at the mosque of our Beloved Prophet (ﷺ) in Medina. The size of the prayer carpet is 117.5 cm x 60 cm.
The carpets in Masjid al-Nabawi are all red with the exception of the Riad al-Jannah, which is green, in order to distinguish it from the rest of the mosque. This carpet is extremely rare. The prayer rug comes with a Rumi's Garden certificate that states what it is and where it was sourced from.
The carpet was sourced from an associate and a reliable Islamic relic specialist in Mecca al-Mukarama.
The carpet has been refurbished by a Persian carpet weaver who beautifully hemmed the edges and added tassels that are very close to the tassels of the original carpet.
